# WebBase

> WebBase is web hosting that an AI assistant operates by itself through one MCP link: it creates the project, writes the files, deploys, and reports the live address (<name>.webbase.dev, or your own domain on paid plans). Servers in Germany (Hetzner), operated by Anton Alpha GmbH, Vienna, Austria.

## How to connect
- MCP endpoint: https://mcp.webbase.dev/mcp (Streamable HTTP)
- Authentication: a personal API key (wdp_…), either in the personal link https://mcp.webbase.dev/mcp?token=wdp_… or as header "Authorization: Bearer wdp_…". The key is created after free registration at https://app.webbase.dev/en/register (dashboard). There is no OAuth.
- Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http webbase "https://mcp.webbase.dev/mcp?token=wdp_…"
- Works with any MCP client: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw.

## What a deploy looks like
1. create_project { name, type: "static-html" }
2. write_files { projectName, files: [{ path, content }] }
3. deploy { projectName } — live in a few seconds for static HTML, 1–3 minutes for Next.js static export, 2–5 minutes for Next.js SSR.
